What to Expect

We know that many people hesitate to visit a church because they don't know what to expect. At Riverside, we want you to feel right at home. Here is just a brief glimpse into what you can expect when you visit our family.

When you enter our building, you will immediately be greeted by several of our loving members.  These greeters will hand you a bulletin that provides information for everything taking place in our congregation.  Please read the bulletin and join us for any activities.

These greeters will also help you find the class you're looking for.  We offer Bible classes for all ages.  For our adult Bible classes, adults have two different options for their educational experience.  We offer Group Discussion classes in our fellowship hall where all students participate in exciting discussion, and we also offer lecture classes in our auditorium with outstanding teachers presenting insightful and inspirational lectures.

In our worship services, you will hear Bible-centered preaching, experience inspirational worship, participate in prayers to our Father, and remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ during the Lord's Supper, through thoughtful meditation about the meaning of the cross.  Worship will last about an hour.

Every soul is important to us, and we strive to help each individual fall in love with the greatness and faithfulness of God.  We believe that genuine faith in God leads to purposeful living.
